By Paul Rudoff on Sep. 26, 2026 at 10:30 PM in Home Video, Animation, Horror

Join me as I do a quick review round-up of home videos that have already been released, or will be released soon...
All of the items below are available for purchase from Amazon or Movie Zyng at the links provided. The Corner Penthouse will earn a very tiny commission from your purchase using these links.

Disclosure Day (2026)
• BUY IT: 4K UHD + Blu-ray / 4K UHD + Blu-ray Steelbook / Blu-ray / DVD.
• SYNOPSIS: If you found out we weren't alone, if someone showed you, proved it to you, would that frighten you? Now the truth belongs to seven billion people in an original event film created and directed by Steven Spielberg.
• SPECIAL FEATURES: All of the content below can be found on the 4K UHD disc.
- Encountering The Unknown: Inside Disclosure Day (54:03) - Join Steven Spielberg, Emily Blunt, and the rest of the cast in this over 50-minute look at the filmmaking secrets and real-life inspirations behind the movie.
- Spielberg & Williams: A Legendary Collaboration (4:09) - Steven Spielberg celebrates composer John Williams in a touching tribute commemorating their shared cinematic legacy.
• NOTES: The back of the case gives the very vague and very misleading synopsis written above. The core of the movie is about there being proof that aliens exist, but Steven Spielberg spends the film's overly-long two-and-a-half hour runtime leading up to the revelation, not in the reaction to the "truth being out there". Going against the very title of the movie, just as our hero Margaret Fairchild (Emily Blunt) is about to reveal an extra-terrestial secret to us (the audience), the movie literally stops. The secret is never disclosed. Along the way, there is some great action scenes, surrounded by brainless male characters doing stupid things, prattling on about nonsense, or doing plot-convenient astral projections that just come off as utterly ridiculous. Oh, Spielberg, how far you have fallen. RENT/STREAM it first before committing to a purchase. The first print run includes an embossed slipcover.

Minions & Monsters (2026)
• BUY IT: 4K UHD + Blu-ray / Blu-ray / DVD.
• SYNOPSIS: This is the rambunctious, ridiculous and totally true story of how the Minions conquered Hollywood as movie stars, lost everything, unleashed monsters onto the world and then banded together to try saving the planet from the mayhem they created.
• SPECIAL FEATURES: All of the content below can be found on both the 4K UHD and Blu-ray discs.
- Minions Take On Hollywood (10:49) - Go behind the scenes of MINIONS & MONSTERS as the filmmakers and artists at Illumination reveal the inspiration behind its early Hollywood setting, from story and casting to period research and cutting-edge animation, while introducing a new generation of Minions.
- Casting Minions & Monsters (11:42) - Meet the voices behind the wide array of characters as filmmakers discuss what talent brought to their respective roles and what they hope fans of the franchise take away from the film.
- Hollywood Sound (4:27) - Step into the studio with composer John Powell as he crafts a score inspired by the sweeping sound and timeless style of Hollywood's golden age.
- How To Make Your Own Irene Blob Monster Slime (3:29) - Using simple ingredients found at home, follow along with "Snoopslimes" in this step-by-step guide to make your very own Irene blob monster slime to devour anything in its path.
- Movie-Making Minions Style (5:58) - Take a seat in the director's chair and make your very own Minions-inspired monster movie with this simple how-to, using hand-drawn art and flipbook animation to recreate one of the earliest forms of filmmaking.
- How To Draw (12:34) - Follow along with head of story Nima Azarba as he teaches you how to draw the Minions, monsters, and more. Includes "James", "Henry", "Ed", "Max", "Dort", "Goomi", "Irene", "Howard", and "Phillips".
• NOTES: The Minions are up to their shenanigans in old Hollywood, with a trio of them looking to gain fame in the movie business, first as movie stars of the silent era, and when that fails due to the introduction of "talkies", as "monster movie" filmmakers. To accomplish that goal, they feel that they need to create real monsters using a spell book. That introduces new character, Goomi (Trey Parker, in a voice similar to one he's used on South Park), a cute version of Lovecraft's Cathulhu. I love Goomi, I love the old Hollywood setting and all of the classic and more modern movie references (the latter thanks to the "movie museum" wraparound), but the side story involving a "robot" named Dort (Jesse Eisenberg) looking to take over the world while sharing an apartment with a lazy layabout, kept stopping the film cold. Dort's entire storyline should have been deleted, especially since he is obviously a human in a robot costume, but that fact is never revealed, which just makes it seem like the film is insulting the audience's intelligence. Despite the Dort storyline, the film is RECOMMENDED. The first print run includes an embossed slipcover.

Passenger (2026)
• BUY IT: Blu-ray / DVD.
• SYNOPSIS: After a young couple witnesses a gruesome highway accident, they soon realize they did not leave the crash scene alone, as a demonic presence called the Passenger that won't stop until it claims them both turns their van life adventure into a nightmare.
• SPECIAL FEATURES: There are no special features.
• RATING: R for strong violent content, some gore, and language.
• NOTES: It's a generic Horror film that seems like a variation on tales seen before on The Twilight Zone and Creepshow 2. RENT/STREAM if really interested, but there's nothing here (in the film or on disc) to make it worth owning.
• CREDIT: This item has been provided by Paramount for review on this site.

Scary Movie (2026)
• BUY IT: 4K UHD / Blu-ray / DVD.
• SYNOPSIS: Twenty-six years after the original massacre, Cindy (Anna Faris), Brenda (Regina Hall), Shorty (Marlon Wayans), and Ray (Shawn Wayans) get dragged back into the chaos by a brand-new masked killer who clearly never learned when to quit.
• SPECIAL FEATURES: All of the content below can be found on the 4K UHD disc.
- Scream Together (8:09) - Catch up with the original crew - older, wiser, and absolutely no better behaved - as they reunite to reflect on the franchise that redefined parody and why they came back to do it all over again.
- Fresh Meat (6:01) - Meet the new cast who knew exactly what they were walking into and got thrown in the deep end anyway.
- Wayans World (4:34) - Get a front-row seat to Marlon, Shawn, and Gregg doing what they do best - breaking each other and everyone else on set.
- Scene Dissection (9:29) - Go inside the most outrageously unhinged moments in the movie and find out exactly how they got away with it.
• NOTES: Ok, there is a lot to unpack here. First, the press release e-mail I got stated that there would be an Extended Cut and a Theatrical Cut on disc, but there is only the Theatrical Cut on the 4K disc. It also stated that there would be an Alternate Ending - described as "Because one ending just wasn't enough. See the never-before-seen alternate ending and watch the chaos play out a whole new way." - but that's not here, either. It seems that the Extended Cut (and maybe the Alternate Ending) has been made a digital-exclusive. For shame, Paramount. For shame.
As for the film itself... Despite the title, this is actually Scary Movie 6. I assume the non-numerated title is a spoof of Scream (2022), which was really Scream 5, but I hated it then, and I still hate it now. If your film is the next part in a series, give it a numeral, especially if there is already a non-numerated film with the same title in the same series. It's too freaking confusing. The plot and the jokes sometimes hit, but mostly they miss. The Wayans are back in creative control and they simply aren't very creative anymore. Too many times the film thinks it's funny to just break character and act like actors in a movie, often explaining the jokes to the audience. That might be funny once or twice, but it gets old quickly. A lot of the old characters from the first two Scary Movie films are brought back, even when they shouldn't be, or if it breaks canon. For example, the first film's twist ending, which was taken from The Usual Suspects, makes a significant revelation about the Doofy character played by Dave Sheridan. Doofy is back, again played by Sheridan, but it's as if that revelation never happened.
In some ways, it's for the best that an "Extended Cut" isn't here because the 96-minute Theatrical Cut could have used an editor. There are three scenes that stop the movie dead. One involves a Michael Jackson movie parody, starring Kenan Thompson, that doesn't even feature Ghostface and feels like an excerpt from an In Living Color reboot. Another is a scene where Ghostface interrupts a gaming livestream, which has no bearing on the overall plot. The last one is a scene where Gail Hailstorm (Cheri Oteri) gets plastic surgery that is a parody of The Substance (2024) - a film I haven't seen, so the parody is lost on me - but again, it doesn't contribute anything to the overall plot. All three of these scenes, which goes on for a few minutes each, should have been cut out.
While it's great to have Anna Faris and Regina Hall back together, they deserve better material. Also, I could have done without Marlon & Shawn Wayans, whose characters (Shorty and Ray) have not aged well. Finally, the first print run includes a slipcover.

Star Trek: The Original Series (1966-1969) (60th Anniversary Edition)
• BUY IT: Blu-ray / Blu-ray Gift Set / DVD.
• SYNOPSIS: Boldly go back to where it all began. Experience all 79 episodes of Star Trek: The Original Series, previously remastered with enhanced visuals and original audio, celebrating the stories, characters, and vision that inspired generations. From the bridge of the Enterprise to the far reaches of the universe, the adventure continues to inspire.
• SPECS: All episodes are available in the original 1.33:1 aspect ratio, with a choice between original special effects or newly-created (in 2009) special effects. Supposedly, you can switch between the two versions on-the-fly with the Angle button, but I never got that to work properly. The episodes also include the original English 2.0 Mono audio, as well as a new (in 2009) English 7.1 Surround Sound remix. French and Spanish audio is also included. Subtitles are available in English SDH, French, Spanish, Portuguese.
• SPECIAL FEATURES: Normally, I would list all of the content that can be found on the Blu-ray discs, but with 20 discs and lots and LOTS of content, I'm not going to do that as this review round-up will be long enough with 22 items reviewed in it. So, I'll point you to another site where the extras are detailed per season: Season 1, Season 2, and Season 3.
• RATING: Not Rated.
• NOTES: Let's get this out of the way up front. These are the same 20 discs that were originally released as three individual seasons in 2009, then packaged together in this same crappy Scanavo case (but with different artwork) in 2016 and a few more times since. So, if you already own any of those releases, you already have this "60th Anniversary Edition", which includes an embossed slipcover. If you don't own any previous Blu-ray release of the series, THIS IS A GREAT SET TO BUY, assuming you don't find the previous releases for less money. For more Star Trek releases, check out the Official Star Trek Amazon Store.

Stop! That! Train! (2026)
• BUY IT: Blu-ray / DVD.
• SYNOPSIS: Best friends Tess (Ginger Minj) and DeeDee (Jujubee) are train stewardesses who trade their dreary shifts on the Stank Rail for the glitzy Glamazonian Express. When a catastrophic "Stormaganza" threatens to derail the high-speed train and crash it into Los Angeles, the duo in coach must join forces with the snobby first class attendants (Symone, Brooke Lynn Hytes, Marcia Marcia Marcia) and President Gagwell (RuPaul) to save the day in this wild ride of camp and comedy.
• SPECIAL FEATURES: All of the content below can be found on the Blu-ray disc.
- Audio Commentary - by director/producer Adam Shankman and writers Christina Friel & Connor Wright.
- Adam Shankman: Director's Vision (2:32) - The cast and crew discuss the tone of the film, and working with director Adam Shankman. Includes behind-the-scenes footage, and interviews with various cast and crew members.
- Production Design (2:40) - Director Adam Shankman and production designer Alessandro Marvelli discuss the look of the film and the sets.
• NOTES: Going in, I didn't know what to expect from this film. I knew it starred drag queens, but seeing as how I don't watch RuPaul's Drag Race, they are all complete unknowns to me, other than RuPaul. Based upon a lot of drag queen stuff that I've seen in passing, I've likened drag queens to circus clowns. They both wear garish amounts of make-up in order to transform themselves into outlandish characters that are exaggerated versions of human beings. In this movie, however, the drag queens aren't cartoonish caricatures. They are simply men playing normal(-ish) female characters. That helps ground the film, especially given the wackiness going on all around them, and also makes it easy for those who aren't interested in drag queens to better enjoy the film.
The rather large amount of cameos helps, too, as noted by director Adam Shankman in the commentary. Among the notable appearances are Sarah Michelle Gellar, Paul Scheer, Joel McHale, Jerry O'Connell, Nicole Sullivan, Nicole Richie, Missi Pyle, Charo, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Mayan Lopez, Raven Simone, and June Diane Raphael. The film is going for an Airplane-style sense of humor and while a lot of the jokes didn't land for me, there were many that did. Sarah Michelle Gellar has a great running gag through the film that I really liked. There was one joke involving the line "Tell it to me straight" that was actually used twice, which seemed a bit odd. Once was enough; though the second time was better than the first thanks to Rachel Bloom, playing train traffic controller Donna Dusk. The "abuse" Donna receives from her co-workers is rather mean-spirited and rather out of place in a film that's supposed to be fun. Other than that bit of reoccurring business, I enjoyed the film. RECOMMENDED.

Bad Counselors (2026)
• BUY IT: DVD.
• SYNOPSIS: Hungover, handcuffed, and two weeks from facing expulsion, two party-hard frat bros must serve 120 hours of community service. Their answer to prayer? Faking it as Christian camp counselors. Their problem? They wouldn't know a hymn from a hot dog.
• SPECIAL FEATURES: There are no special features on the DVD disc.
• RATING: PG-13 for suggestive material.
• NOTES: Yes, the plot seems like it came from a 1980s comedy, but it's still a fun film with appearances by Missi Pyle (also in Stop! That! Train! - see above) and the adorable Brec Bassinger (the titular Stargirl).

The Descent Part II (2009)
• BUY IT: 4K UHD + Blu-ray Steelbook (Lionsgate Limited Exclusive).

Forced back underground to help the rescue team search for her missing girlfriends, Sarah's fractured memories begin to return, and she realizes the full horror of what lurks in the depths of the caves. But the rescue team is about to face a new tribe of deformed crawlers - even more viciously feral than those Sarah encountered before.
• SPECIAL FEATURES: All of the content below can be found on both the 4K UHD and Blu-ray discs. At the time of this writing, I also own the U.K. Region B Blu-ray. - U.S. Trailer (1:44)
- International Trailer (1:30)
• NOTES: A wholly unnecessary, but still fun and scary, sequel to the much better first film from 2005 - which is available on 4K UHD + Blu-ray Steelbook (out of print) and Blu-ray. This release of the second film includes a plastic slipcover that goes over the Steelbook.

• BUY IT: 4K UHD / Blu-ray.

• SPECIAL FEATURES: All of the content below can be found on the 4K UHD disc.
- Batman Needs a Robin (7:01) - Many incarnations of Robin have helped Batman fight his war on crime. The filmmakers reveal the vital role Robin plays in the Batman mythology (with an emphasis on Tim Drake), in the iconic Batman: Knightfall series and in the animated adaptation.
- Breaking the Bat: Adapting the Knightfall (10:17) - Go behind the scenes with the long-awaited animated adaptation as the filmmakers reveal their process for breaking down the epic story; designing and animating the action; and breathing life into one of the darkest sagas in the Dark Knight's history.
• NOTES: The first part of a trilogy, with Part 2 set to be released at the end of 2026, and Part 3 coming in early 2027. It's a good film, but maybe wait until all parts are available and buy them all at once. Maybe Warner Brothers will even release an "all in one" set.

Supergirl (2026)
• BUY IT: 4K UHD / 4K UHD Steelbook / Blu-ray / DVD.
• SYNOPSIS: In its inaugural flight into the new DC Cinematic Universe, Supergirl reveals the origin of the interplanetary nomad Kara Zor-El (Milly Alcock), aka Supergirl, cousin of Kal-El, better known as Superman. Headstrong, worldly-wise, and often reckless, Supergirl exudes a brand of heroism all her own - truthful, relatable, and always on her own terms. But when an unexpected and ruthless adversary strikes too close to home, Kara reluctantly joins forces with an unlikely companion, Lobo (Jason Momoa). Together they undertake an epic, interstellar journey, struggling to balance one's need for vengeance with the pursuit of justice - and to save the life of Kara's best friend, her dog Krypto. Ultimately Supergirl will prove that doing good can be tough... and it doesn't always have to be nice.
• SPECIAL FEATURES: All of the content below can be found on the 4K UHD disc.
- Flying Off the Page (11:02) - Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, written by Tom King with art by Bilquis Evely, was the jumping off point for DC to adapt Supergirl into a film. We follow the comic authors, screenwriter Ana Nogueira, and filmmakers, as they make the leap from page to screen.

- Deleted Scenes - Includes the scenes "Extended Shopping Trip with Map" (1:51) and "Knoll Family"(2:57).
• NOTES: Is this film as bad as everyone says it is? In short, YES! It's nothing like the 1984 film starring Helen Slater or the 2015-2021 TV series starring Melissa Benoist. Yet, it's like SO many other films with his clichéd revenge plot. Stop me if you've heard this one before. "A little kid witnesses his/her family being murdered and wants revenge on the bad guy who did it. He/she goes to our hero, who doesn't help at first, but after the bad guy does something to affect our hero, that's what causes the hero to decide to help. Said hero tells the kid to stay behind, but the kid sneaks on-board with the hero, who now has an unwanted traveling companion to deal with." That's the plot of the 2026 Supergirl. There's also a hint of John Wick, with Supergirl's dog Krypto being poisoned and having just three days to live if the antidote isn't found. Yet another cliché. The only positive is that cute Milly Alcock does a great job playing the unlikeable Kara Zor-El (aka Supergirl), a sarcastic and self-loathing nepo baby who is constantly drinking, sleeping in late, and bumming around with Krypto while shrugging off all responsibility. All that said, the 4K release comes with a really cool slipcover featuring a lenticular front and an extra paperboard on the back and top, which can be pulled off to reveal the "S" sigil on the back of the case.

Evil Dead Burn (2026)
• BUY IT: 4K UHD / 4K UHD Steelbook / Blu-ray / DVD.
• SYNOPSIS: After the loss of her husband, a woman seeks solace with her in-laws in their secluded family home. As one by one they are transformed into Deadites - turning the gathering into a family reunion from hell - she comes to discover that the vows she took in life live on... even in death.

- This One's Gonna Burn (4:50) - Explore the fire-fueled chaos of Evil Dead Burn by witnessing how the stunts and effects teams brought the film's physical horror to life.
• NOTES: The positives: Gory and batshit crazy with wildly-inventive photography, and a darkly humorous performance by Maude Davey as grandma Polly. The negatives: The over-long runtime, the rather miserable state of affairs, and so many plot holes. While I enjoyed it at first, it really started to wear on me the longer and longer it went on. It does tie in to the previous film, Evil Dead Rise (2023), which I reviewed a few years ago. There's another film, Evil Dead Wrath, coming in 2028. Hopefully it'll be better. The first print run of the 4K release includes a slipcover. For more Evil Dead, check out my review of the Ash Vs. Evil Dead: The Complete Collection Blu-ray, as well as the next review below...

Evil Dead (2013)
• BUY IT: 4K UHD (Both Cuts, Shout Factory) / 4K UHD Steelbook (Both Cuts, Shout Factory) / Blu-ray (Both Cuts, Sony) (this is the release I'm reviewing) / DVD (Theatrical, Sony).
• SYNOPSIS: A secluded cabin. An ancient curse. An unrelenting evil. The original producers reunite to present a genuinely terrifying re-imagining of their original horror masterpiece. Five young friends have found the mysterious and fiercely powerful Book of the Dead. Unable to resist its temptation, they release a violent demon on a bloodthirsty quest to possess them all. Who will be left to fight for their survival and defeat this unearthly force of murderous carnage?
• SPECIAL FEATURES: All of the content below, except for the three trailers, can be found on the Theatrical Cut Blu-ray disc. The Unrated Cut Blu-ray disc only has the three trailers.
- Audio Commentary - with director Fede Alvarez, writer Rodo Sayagues, and actors Jane Levy, Lou Taylor Pucci, and Jessica Lucas.
- Directing the Dead (7:25) - Fede Alvarez speaks on the process of working as director.
- Evil Dead the Reboot (9:50) - Rob Tapert, Bruce Campbell, Fede Alvarez, Rodo Sayagues, Jane Levy, and J.R. Young discuss the original film's legacy and more.
- Making Life Difficult (8:13) - Jane Levy and Fede Alvarez discuss the major physical challenges involved in making the movie.
- Unleashing the Evil Force (5:07) - A closer look at the new Book of the Dead.
- Being Mia (9:13) - The process of Jane Levy's transformation into character.
- Red Band Trailer 1 (1:26)
- Red Band Trailer 2 (2:22)
- Theatrical Trailer (2:08)
• NOTES: The two-disc Unrated Blu-ray includes the Theatrical Cut disc from 2013, along with the Unrated Cut disc from 2018. The Unrated Cut runs five minutes longer, as detailed in this comparison. No matter which cut you view, the film is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. It's one of the best remakes, helped in great part by star Jane Levy, whom I have always liked. Her defining role, in my opinion, is as the adorable titular character in the TV series Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist (2020-2021)

Wag the Dog (1997)
• BUY IT: Blu-ray / DVD.
• SYNOPSIS: Two weeks before re-election, the President of the United States (Michael Belson) is accused of accosting a girl scout. Before the news reaches the media, his advisors call in political spin-master Conrad "Connie" Brean (Robert De Niro) specializing in image rescues. What to do? Hire Hollywood producer Stanley Motts (Dustin Hoffman) to create a war -- distracting public attention from the scandal and rallying Americans to their President in surge of patriotic fervor.
• SPECIAL FEATURES: All of the content below can be found on the Blu-ray disc.
- Audio Commentary - by Barry Levinson and Dustin Hoffman. Originally recorded in 1998 for the New Line Platinum Series DVD.
- From Washington to Hollywood and Back (24:43) - This piece expertly targets the increasingly blurred line between movies, politics, news, and entertainment. It includes interviews with director Barry Levinson, producer Jane Rosenthal, screenwriter Bud Schulberg, journalist Tom Brokaw, filmmaker John Frankenheimer, Dustin Hoffman, filmmaker D.A. Pennebaker, and more.
- Q&A: Macy on Mamet (5:58) - Actor William H. Macy is asked a small amount of on-screen questions regarding his working relationship with co-writer David Mamet.
- Theatrical Trailer (2:34)
• NOTES: Such a timely political satire, probably more timely now in 2026 than it was when it was released 30 years ago. RECOMMENDED.

Auntie Mame (1958)
• BUY IT: 4K UHD + Blu-ray / Blu-ray / DVD.
• SYNOPSIS: Reprising her Broadway triumph, Rosalind Russell received her fourth Oscar nomination and third Golden Globe Award as the marvelous madcap woman who lives life to the hilt. "Life is a banquet," Mame says, "and most poor suckers are starving to death!" With wit, style and a seasoned cast to dish humor and heart with gusto, Auntie Mame is a full-course meal of entertainment magic.
• SPECIAL FEATURES: The first two items are on both 4K UHD and Blu-ray discs, while everything else is on the noted discs.
- Music Only Track - Watch the movie while listening to its score.
- Theatrical Trailer (3:09)
- 4K ONLY: Conversation with Jan Handzlik and Dave Karger (11:17) - A chat between former child actor Jan Handzlik (who played Patrick Dennis as a boy) and host Dave Karger that was recorded live at the 2026 TCM Classic Film Festival.
- 4K ONLY: Restoration: Before and After (2:07) - A montage of comparison clips between the 2017 master, the unrestored negative, and the new master.
- BLU ONLY: Mame Theatrical Trailer (3:43) - This is for the 1974 Technicolor musical adaptation starring Lucille Ball.
• NOTES: The two-disc 4K UHD + Blu-ray set includes a new transfer from new elements on the 4K disc only. The Blu-ray disc is the same one that was originally released in 2017, so it has an old transfer, though it's still good. Just not as good as the 4K's new transfer. The two-disc 4K UHD + Blu-ray set also includes a black-and-white booklet with poster designs, publicity clippings, and other items from the original theatrical pressbook. It's a bit too small to really appreciate everything, and you'll need a magnifying glass if you want to read it, but it's still a fun collectible. I wish more studios would include stuff like this. The first print run includes a slipcover.

His standards are tough -- the Venus de Milo, would only rate a seven. And then George sees a 10 (Bo Derek). Possessed by her beauty, he will stop at nothing to have her, even though she is on her honeymoon.
• SPECIAL FEATURES: All of the content below can be found on the Blu-ray disc.

Jack & Sarah (1995)
• BUY IT: Blu-ray / DVD.
• SYNOPSIS: In a split second, Jack's (Richard E. Grant) seemingly perfect world comes crashing down around him when his wife dies in childbirth. Suddenly faced with this tragic loss and the demands of single parenthood to his baby girl, Sarah, Jack spontaneously hires a beautiful young American waitress named Amy (Samantha Mathis) as a nanny. But Amy, who is unqualified, inexperienced and unsuitable for the job, only complicates matters further when Jack finds himself falling for her! With his overprotective mother (Judi Dench), drunkard housekeeper (Ian McKellen) and romantically interested boss (Cherie Lunghi) all attempting to intervene, can this tidy British widower and his decidedly undomestic domestic find love against all the odds?
• SPECIAL FEATURES: All of the content below can be found on the Blu-ray disc.
- Trailer (2:43)
- Behind the Scenes Gallery (1:10) - A total of 7 images, all of which are movie stills, not behind the scenes images.
• NOTES: A great film featuring the lovely Samantha Mathis.

Perfect Strangers: The Complete Series (1986-1993)
• BUY IT: Blu-ray / DVD.
• SYNOPSIS: When Balki Bartokomous (Bronson Pinchot) arrives in America from the Mediterranean island of Mypos, he shows up unannounced on the Chicago doorstep of distant cousin Larry Appleton (Mark Linn-Baker), forcing two strangers into an unlikely room situation. Balki, an earnest shepherd with boundless optimism and a love for American culture, clashes with Larry, an uptight aspiring photographer. Despite their differences, the pair gradually grow from fifth cousins three times removed into best friends.
• SPECIAL FEATURES: There are no special features on the Blu-ray disc.
• RATING: Not Rated.
• NOTES: If you grew up in the 1980s, like me, you need no explanation as to how great this show is. Bronson Pinchot and Mark Linn-Baker have perfect chemistry together, much like the comedy duos of the past. Although the episodes look great in HD, this is yet another one of those Complete Series Blu-ray sets in a crappy Epik Pak case where the disc holder pages are not affixed to the case itself, and the overlapped discs are hard to remove. There is a per-season episode list printed on the case interior, but it doesn't state which episodes are on which discs. Man, I am SOOOOO getting tired of this shitty packaging, especially DVD-size cases for Blu-rays. Fans would gladly pay a little more for proper packaging; namely each season in its own case with all cases fitting into a side-loading slipcase. Warner Brothers did this with Friends, so why not keep doing it?
