Ghost Corps Releases The PKE Report Newsletter (Volume 1, Issue 2)

Today I received an e-mail from Janine Melnitz, which is the second issue of The PKE Report, a newsletter from Ghost Corps written from Janine's perspective. Read on to find out more about it...
The newsletter, which comes from janine@ghostcorps.com (a valid, but unmonitored, e-mail address), is open to everyone. If you're not already on the list, sign up using the official PKE Report Contact Information Form.
This issue of the newsletter opens by telling us recipients that "the Ectober Takeover has begun. Some of our favorite ghosts, spirits, and ghouls have the run of our social accounts for the month." The rest of the newsletter is, to be completely honest, various advertisements for the various cross-promotions Sony has lined up with various companies.
The first ad is for electronic car manufacturer Rivian. If you own one of these vehicles, apparently you can "update" it with "eerie lighting, iconic sounds and plenty of special tricks" for a limited time; "all controllable from inside the vehicle, on the mobile app or on your Apple Watch". That's cool, I guess. What is definitely cool is the video advertisement (embedded below) featuring Bill Murray. The guy passed on a third film for DECADES, yet he had no problem signing up for this?!? Anyway, you can view the "Ecto-R1" seen in the video in person at multiple locations throughout the USA, plus special screenings, and more! Visit the Rivian website for more info.
The rest of the ads are for... Menchie's Frozen Yogurt, which is a place that doesn't have any shops on Long Island, so that's of no use to me. If you have a shop near you (check the website for locations), they have new Stay Puft Toasted Marshmallow and Ghostbusters Sugar Cookie frozen yogurt flavors for a limited time. The New York City Ghostbusters have a booth at New York Comic Con, which runs from now until October 11th. TaylorMade Golf will soon have some Ghostbusters apparel. Now through November 25th, the Monopoly Go! mobile game has a Ghostbusters adventure. You can buy Ghostbusters Halloween costumes at all of the usual haunts.
The Real Ghostbusters recently turned 40 years old (ten years older than Spook Central), and mention is made of the October 3rd live-reading of "The Boogieman Cometh" at Dynasty Typewriter in Los Angeles. If you missed it, for $15 you can still rent the livestream. Finally, the newsletter ends with an alert to "be on the lookout for new Real Ghostbusters products from Hasbro, Mondo, and Funko celebrating the 40th anniversary."
That's all there is for this second issue. It would be nice if it was more than just ads, and stuff we can already learn about from Ghostbusters News. Make us feel like we're getting some kind of exclusive insider info, Sony. Please.
